"In March, 2009, I discovered that I had some sole damage on my 1989 Sabre 34 Targa that would require pulling the mast to repair.  Water had not been draining into the bilge properly and had caused the teak and holly veneer to delaminate.   I was given Gaston's name by Peggy Duval at Cobb's Marina as being the best rigger in Hampton Roads and the most qualified to pull the mast and then re-rig the boat when the repairs were complete.  I met with Gaston later that month and we arranged for the work to be done at Cobb's Marina.  During our meeting he discovered a problem with the aft lower spreaders that required interface with Hall Spars to correct.  Needless to say, I'm extremely pleased with the work Gaston did on my boat.  The mast came out without a hitch and went back in with ease.  The aft spreader problem was repaired, and the rigging was tuned to perfection.  In addition, Gaston recommended a great method for sealing the partners and a more efficient way to run my roller furling line from the furling drum.  I will certainly be going back to Gaston for any future rigging work."
